Ideal for bedroom or den, the versatile TSX-20's electronics module can sit on a bookshelf conventionally or be tilted to a 20- or 45-degree angle - the section can even be hung on a wall. This small, high-quality audio system consists of a central module incorporating an AM/FM tuner, digital amplifier, and a CD player. A pair of two-way bass reflex speakers completes the system. Completing the TSX-20 system is a pair of two-way bass-reflex speakers that deliver a frequency range of 63 to 27,000 Hz. The TSX-20 incorporates a Class T digital amplifier delivering 18 watts per channel. It features a mini-jack Auxiliary input so another source component can be easily connected to the system. Yamaha provides a mini-jack output so you can simply add a cassette recorder or other device. An optical digital CD output provides direct connection to a separate device or system. A separate subwoofer output permits the addition of a powered sub for dramatic low-end bass. The headphone output provides private listening. The TSX-20 incorporates a sensitive AM/FM Stereo tuner with 40-station preset random access capability.The TSX-20's technology is as forward-looking as its design. The CD player easily handles CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs. A 1-bit D/A converter assures fine performance. The one-touch, motor-driven open/close acrylic cover makes inserting a disc a simple pleasure.
