5.0 out of 5 stars Hours of great listening, July 23, 2005

I found this album on a recent trip to New Zealand. What a treasure!! I have listened to this album in the car for the past several months and never tire of the talented and fresh renditions of some great classical pieces as well as some film scores. The selection of material indicates the departure of this album from the usual "tried and true" classical pieces. It also indicates how vibrant the playing is of these two very talented young men.

By petrarchslaurie (Portland, OR) - See all my reviews
My husband and I saw these gents perform live, and loved their excited energy and fabulous skill. The songs on this album are are great assortment of some of the best of the popular classical rep, and are sure to please.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disapointing, September 17, 2004
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My guess is these two handsome guys were considered promotable by the record company. Their arrangements are uninspired and the whole thing never comes off. Their choice of songs is poor. What the devil are things like "The Wedding March" doing on this CD?
