I like this product because it is an easy way to increase protein in a lot of foods. I throw a tablespoon or two in with the oatmeal when it's cooking. Also it can be added to baked goods. If it's going to be added to cold stuff, let it soak in the milk awhile to soften it up, or whatever liquid is being used. It is pure soybeans, broken into little pieces so the liquid can be absorbed. This, I feel, should be mentioned on the box: If it is eaten as a cold cereal or with cold cereal, it should be soaked in the milk (etc.) first, for at least 15-20 minutes to soften it up.

I have been buying this at Fresh Fields... they don't carry it anymore. It is a wonderful and healthy addition to my favorite lunch of fruit, yogurt and honey. I am delighted to find it available for purchase!
