A touch of Mexican history elegantly adorns this original picture frame. Vicente Ortuno pastes scenes portraying many of the country's most famous black and white movie stars, such as Maria Felix, Dolores del Rio, Jorge Negrete, and Pedro Infante, around the border. Crafted by hand from pinewood, the piece is enhanced by the subtle presence of aluminum strips. Ortuno himself reproduces the photos on paper, which may result in variations of the pictured motifs. NOVICA, in association with National Geographic, searches the world to work directly with the finest artisan designers.
