I ended up having a lot of trouble with skipping when using this boombox, especially when using burnt CDs. It also lacks a lot of features such as bass boost or a programmable play sequence. The sound is mediocre, but adequate. I'd recommend spending an extra $10-$20 and getting a better model.

This thing is sold without a power cord. The fine folks at Coby told me it was only for battery operation. It takes 8 C batteries! I had to pay an additional $9.99 to get a power cord from Coby.

We purchased this product specifically for the repeat function. We play CDs at night for our children. We purchased one, and the repeat function stopped working within the first 30 days. We exchanged it for another, and after two months, the repeat function no longer works. It also will not play the CDs any longer. We are so unhappy with our purchase - don't waste your money!
