This pot is made of easy-to-clean, highly polished 18/10 stainless steel; the stainless interior won't react with foods and cleans easily and the stainless steel exterior gives the cookware a gleaming finish. The fish poacher is a long, narrow pot which is just the right size for cooking or poaching a whole fish or several fillets, whether in the oven or on top of the stove. A stainless steel slotted rack fits in the bottom of the poacher to hold the fish for steaming and to easily lift the cooked fish from the poacher. The pot has two stay-cool loop handles attached with non-corrosive, stainless steel rivets and a lid fashioned from polished 18/10 stainless steel that fits even with the pan's edges to seal in the flavour of foods.
7 quart/6.6 litre capacity.
Oven safe to 500°F. Lifetime warranty.
Dishwasher safe, or wash with warm, soapy water. To remove stuck-on food or discolouration and stains resulting from using too high heat, clean using Bar Keeper's Friend stainless steel cleanser. Do not use scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleansers, bleach, or oven cleaners.

This is just another example of the quality of All-Clad cookware. I purchased it after purchasing a cheaper brand and it is well worth the investment. I have poached salmon using various recipes and the results are fantastic. This poacher is beautiful and does a great job. And don't forget the fish turner. It works great with this piece.

The fish shaped handle is a little silly and makes it more difficult to lay on the counter upside down, but the poacher is well-made and beautifully finished, as would be expected from an All-Clad. It works really well on our (Dacor) gas cooktop and cleans up easily. Roomy for lots of fish/big dinners.
