About the Artist
I am a graduate from the College of Santa Fe with a BA in Sound Design in Media in 2002. This is a Self Designed major that consists of studies in Theatre, Film, and Music. I love designing soundscapes for theatre and film. I have many skills as far as theatre and film production, but what I like the most is sound. Sound helps us interpret the world in a unique way with frequency, amplitude and time: I chose to explore these realms. Frequency, amplitude and time is the first CD by Aaron Acosta. It consists of experimental electro-acoustic, ambient, and electronic music. This CD may be suitable for works of film, dance, or theatre (or just simple listening pleasure). This CD is approximately an hour long with thirteen tracks.
Tracks from this album have been featured at the 60x60 concert by Vox Novus in New York City, November 2003 and performed at a special tape music reception on September 25 at the Santa Cruz Cayuga Vault for local audience and members of the Woodstockhausen staff
