4.0 out of 5 stars Best overlooked metalcore CD I've heard, March 3, 2009
When Officer Negative came on stage wearing black slacks, black shirts and black ties, some things were different. It was very different from the hardcore look they had before, and the music was very much heavier. In fact their new sound was so heavy and so dooming that most of their fans abandoned them. It's a shame because The Death Campaign is one of the best doomcore albums I've ever heard. Some of the filler tracks are a little long and boring, but the rest is amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Long awaited Release of Ventura Black Metal., May 16, 2004
By R. P. Gberdex "Don't Listen To Me" (Burning Down Camarillo, CA) - See all my reviews
For those ON fans... you might not like this cd. For those AKELDAMA fans (if you don't know... sorry) You will love it.

This is one grinding awsome Metal album. Just listen.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for a first cd, May 12, 2004
By Smithy1185 (San Diego, CA USA) - See all my reviews
Since this is The Death Campaigns first cd(unless I am mistaken although they are going by their old band Officer Negative for the cd), it is a pretty good one. The quality is good and most of the songs are good too. Having seen them in concert and thought that they put out a really good show, I am glad I purchased this and I encourage others to do the same. Support this relatively new band and hope that they make more music.
