I was surprised to find this clock has a durable brushed metal frame and a decorative look and feel. But the best part is that the face lights up at night so you can view the time in a dark room. It's run on batteries so there is no cord to run down the wall. I had not seen a clock before with this feature, but it comes in handy. A good value.

I just received the new version of this with the Roman Numeral dial.The metal frame looks really nice in my office but could have just as easily fit in my home. The real neat thing is the glow light that allows you to see this in a darkened room at night -from battery power!Very happy with the initial operation of the clock. I have always used this brand and never had any problems.

I was somewaht disappointed in that the backlighting on the clock face was incomplete and uneven, emminating from a single led, without good diffusion over the entire face as expected. Otherwise works fine as a normal wall clock.
