Made of a durable Koskin material that looks and feels like leather, the case is an ideal travel companion, holding up to use and abuse in backpacks, briefcases, or airline seat pockets. The interior of the case features a compact three-ring binder equipped with several patented see-through ProSleeve pages with padded disc pockets. Users can store title notes and chapter information in the sleeves and movies in the pockets, some of which come with extra slots for bonus discs. This case is great but it only holds 25 DVD's with liner notes some sleeves hold 2 dvds (good for those 2 dvd sets). The pages are removable so that makes them easy to travel with or loan to friends. The whole things takes up less space than 6 regular DVD cases and it zippers up so it stays neat. It has similar dimensions to a reqular DVD case so it would probably fit on the same shelf. It is made of a black leather like material so it looks great too!

Case Logic has completely changed the DVB-40. It now holds only 21 liner notes instead of 25, and 48 DVDs instead 40. Every page holds two discs, which is kind of a waste since a good number of DVDs only come with one disc, and there are six slots on the front which I still haven't found a use for. They've also replaced the 3 metal rings with some band thing which makes it difficult to remove the pages. To the outside they've added brown thread which I don't particularly like. It's still a space saver, but no longer as convenient or stylish as it once was. I'll be finding another DVD Wallet when it's time to expand my collection.

Ordered two of these and they are great. The descriptions and many of the reviews are outdated (notice some of them are 3 years old). I had to go to the Case Logic website for a true description and picture. Design changes have been made over the years.

This DVD wallet holds 21 DVDs along with the movie title notes. The "48 disk" description assumes you have two DVD's per title page plus the disks that are slid into the front end-cap. Probably can't fit too much more than this anyway. The zipper is starting to get hard to close on one of ours. (Although a few of our DVDs had thick cardboard title pages and we often stuffed in more than just the DVD front covers. We would have more room if we hadn't done that.)

This product HAS a zipper, but does NOT have the three ring binder system (although the pages are punched for 3-rings). It is Case Logic's new strap system. The wallet is made out of "Koskin" which is a type of synthetic leather. Looks much better (in my opinion) than the fabric wallets you often see.

The other thing I like is that this case is not HUGE. It fits on the same low-height shelf that originally held our DVD cases. If I would have ordered a larger case it wouldn't have fit in the same spot. Also these should be portable enough for the kids to take on long car trips.

I think this is a great product, just like I was expecting after doing my research directly from Case Logic's website. I'm planning on buying a third one.
