Converts your Symantec Gateway Security appliance into a combination wireless access point and Internet sharing security gateway. Provides enterprise-class security for the wireless medium by treating it as an untrusted port and allowing multiple wireless encryption security options, including VPN-Secure wireless tunnels. Supports IEEE 802.11g or IEEE 802.11b wireless LANs and mixed combinations of both types of clients. Compatible with Symantec Client VPN software to provide the same user interface and security while away from the office or on a wireless LAN. Supports Wireless Roaming when multiple Symantec Gateway Security appliances are deployed on your internal LAN. Robust feature set includes many enterprise-class features such as powerful VPN group policy definitions, and an integrated RADIUS Client for centralized authentication. Includes an MC-type female connector for attachment to an external, range extending, wireless antenna.
