Product Description

Editorial Review
This fire and rescue set is part of a series of Nano-Tropolis construction kits that kids can build themselves and then play with. All the model pieces come packed in a hard case that reverses to form a piece of roadway and connect this environment to another Nano-Tropolis systems. A cardboard backdrop with a scene of skyscrapers and trees helps to evoke the urban setting for this particular environment. This set builds a fire station and three emergency response vehicles—a fire engine with a working siren, flashing light, and ladder; an ambulance; and a police car that can be propelled by an included vehicle launcher. The parts are made in the familiar Mega Bloks fashion, which snap together without requiring glue or extra tools. This building system comes with 515 pieces, many of them very small. Although an instruction book with detailed three-dimensional diagrams is included, younger children still may need some help from adults during assembly. --Cristina Vaamonde

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent purchase., September 13, 2005

This was a very good bargin, excellent price and fun toy. Very well made, intertaining to put together. My father enjoys putting the mega bloks together. He is 72 years old, not really able to do puzzle anymore, he really enjoys making these projects. I work for a hospital, and deal with the EMT and police and Firemen. This was a cute souvenior to have. Thanks
A very satified customer.

4.0 out of 5 stars 24 Hour Lifesaver, September 7, 2005

We recently flew to Thailand and my son had so much fun with these toys. He could easily put them into the case they came in and go (when we were making transfers). They came in and out of the case dozens of times and transformed into many things. We had many people in Korea and Japan stop in the airports as he built and enjoy his creations.

4.0 out of 5 stars small pieces, but great set, August 28, 2005

This is another neat blocks set from Megablocks! The pieces are not for very small children though. As per the manufacturer's recommendation, they are for 7+ year old kids who can handle the sets well. The car when complete is about finger length and the fire truck is about palm length. but they look and play well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly wonderful toy! A smash hit with my 6 year old.
The pieces are smaller than traditional legos and it does require focus on the kid's part. The directions are wonderfully illustrated and simple to follow, in a full color... Read more

I am six years old and this toy was not too difficult for me. It is different from Legos because it is smaller but the pieces still fit together easily. Read more
