I've been consuming Pure Protein bars for years, and have tried and enjoyed all their chocolate peanut caramel varieties. This triple layer bar surpasses them all in robust flavor and palatable texture. This bar chews and tastes like a Mars Snikers® bar and a Nestlé $100,000 bar combined. I eat one bar with a Metamucil® Fiber Wafer cookie as a complete meal replacement for Lunch or Dinner, and am left feeling completely full and energized. If like me, you've tried other protein bars, you simply must try this next. If you are new to protein bar use, this is the best place to start without being discouraged by the taste or texture of other bars.

I've been eating protein bars for several years now, most of the time as a meal replacement or in between meal snack. Most are less then enjoyable, some even taste just plain awful, and typically speaking the more protein they have in them the worst the taste. But at last someone has created a protein bar that is packed and yet tastes almost like a candy bar!

The first thing I noticed was the fact that they do not have any corn syrup in them! Nothing but high quality ingredients. Yes they might not be 100% natural, but you can only eat so many grass/cardboard/protein bars.

The taste is just unbelievable. It tastes almost like a Snickers, but it's still a protein bar... not all that sweet and the texture isn't creamy or soft like a candy bar. It is just amazing that they have this much protein, vitamins, and minerals in them and taste this good! After eating one I get a whey protein aftertaste, some might not like it, I for one like the taste of whey protein so it doesn't bother me.

I've been eating Clif Builder's Bars because they are all natural, taste really good, have tons of protein, and are extremely filling, but these Revolution High Protein Triple Layer Bars have just made their way into my rotation of "power bars" because of the amount of protein per bar (32 grams!) and the fact that they have way less sugar then the Builder's Bars.

If you are new to protein bars, these would be a great starting point and I might even suggest you take a look at Worldwide Sport Nutrition's Pure Protein High Protein Double Layer Bar S'mores Bars, they taste even less like a protein bar and the marshmallow filling is just way too tasty!

Pros:
Large enough to be a meal replacement bar.
Easy on your stomach (some are just torture on your guts).
Not too bad calories wise (280).
32 grams of protein, making it one of the most packed bars on the market.
Low carb.
Low sugar.
Not too sweet.
Provides about 25% of the most necessary vitamins and minerals.

Cons:
Not 100% natural.
Can have a slight aftertaste of whey protein.

having tried numerous bars including clif, balance, south-beach, zone, pure-protein, powerbar, EAS Power Protein, Detour, Myoplex etc and this is by far the "BEST" tasting bar i've tried. Tastes like a regular candy bar, without none of that wierd, powdery, protein aftertaste..
