High quality architectural speaker cable made for home and office sound systems. UL approved CMR or CL3R rating makes it acceptable for most building and electrical codes. Gray PVC jacket with color coded S-R PVC (red, black,green,white) stranded wires. 16 gauge wire consists of 19 x .0117 gauge strands of ASTM B-3, B-8, and B-286 copper. Maximum voltage rated 300V. Sequential footage markers to facilitate installation. Suitable for use from -20 deg C to +75 deg C. Meets NEC article 725 and 800 rating as well as California state fire marshall approval. Includes ripcord for quick jacket removal. Manufacturer model number E1044S Made in USA. 500 foot spool.
