4.0 out of 5 stars PRETTY COOL CONCERT FILM! STONES, RUSH & MORE!, June 29, 2007
I bought this DVD set for the Rolling Stones and Rush footage, but found much more on this 2 disc set. It would have been nice to have the entire show, but I'm happy with it for the most part. It has many great acts and the sound is quite good. There are some cool extras on this set one small piece of film when Neil Peart is meeting Charlie Watts! Neil looks like he just met his idol! This set is worth picking up and if you look around you can find this 2 disc set pretty cheap....like I did. I paid $11.00 for a new sealed one! Not a bad deal at all!

4.0 out of 5 stars Toronto Rocks again and again, July 7, 2004
By Tyson Blue "Tyson Blue" (Macedon, New York USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Like the previous viewer, I was at the Toronto Rocks concert. The DVD does give a good feel of the event to people who weren't there, but it could have been made even better by including such things as Randy Bachman's impromptu performance of "Takin' Care of Business" in the middle of the Guess Who set, one of the big surprises of the day. And more Stones and AC/DC would've been great as well. But until they decide to put out the complete concert, rock DVD doesn't get much better than this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Toronto certainly did rock, June 28, 2004
By David Proudfoot (Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
I was thrilled to be in Toronto (T.O.) to attend this concert last year. I am currently at home watching the DVD of the same. Man, it is amazing to relive this. Tea Party playing right now.

The only complaint so far that I can come up with is that the two main headliners (AC/DC & Rolling Stones) have limited performances - I mean only two songs from AC/DC and six from the Stones, but they are infact extemely worthwhile.

For those who were there or heard about it,the exposure that the remaining 12 bands (8½ Canadian, 3½ American) had through this is something else. Typically each supporting act got the chance to perform three, maybe four songs. Almost of those are presented completely. The only one missing from the days events was the DJ (sorry, can't remember his name) who provided two intermissions worth of entertainment for the crowd that day and who was amazing to listen to.

Overall a very solid DVD of the days events. Happy I picked it up.

love some of the bands.. My fave, The Tea Party only had 3 songs, but in their last song, "Sister Awake", they had the crowd going just as hard as any of the main bands. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Very dumb move to not release the 1st disc outside of Canada
I don't understand this. From day one, I thought this was a very dumb move. I don't understand why they couldn't have just released the double CD set outside of Canada, too. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty decent, but lousy recording of AC/DC
First of all, there should have been a lot more of AC/DC on this DVD. By all accounts they were the best band of the night. Read more
