Decorative style mailboxes feature a window grid design and include a privacy plate option to block visibility of the mail. Traditional mailboxes are designed to be surface mounted may be used for U.S.P.S. residential door mail delivery.

I received and installed this mailbox almost immediately and love it!
It is better than pictured and much more durable then I expected, highly recommend!!!!!

Mailbox was straightforward to mount on brick wall and looks nice. There is a privacy panel (to be mounted with adhesives inside the front panel of mailbox) that I did not install initially, then my friendly mailman put a note recommending that I put a plastic inside box to protect from rain, so I installed the privacy panel for that purpose. My only regret is that the box cannot be locked. But I think it is a good value; the other mailboxes I saw in stores and on line were either bland or very pricey.

What a great mailbox! It's way nicer than I expected. Made of heavy metal with what looks like a very durable finish. Living six blocks from The Pacific Ocean will be a real test of it's durability!
