Calling Features
Used simply as a phone, the G4015 features a 4-way navigation key for easy access to a variety of handy features, including 40-chord polyphonic ring tones, voice mail button, voice mail indicator, volume select/display, signal strength indicator, phone status indicator, call timers, redial, missed call indicator, call log, any-key answer, auto-answer, roaming indicator, speed dial, phonebook look-up, phonebook scroll, mute control, no-answer transfer, usage alert, vibrating ring, differential ring, a phone book capacity of 100 entries, and more. This phone supports TTY/TDD (Telecommunication Device for the Deaf) devices.

Messaging and Internet

I loved the display, easy to navigate menu, compact size and nifty features, BUT the volume level, even when I full was terrible. I had a very difficult time hearing others speak with or without the headset. The reception was not that great either. In areas where I had no problems with my previous Nokia, this phone would cut out and produce a lot of static.

I ended up returning it for another Nokia and the problems are solver.

When I mistakenly thought I lost my Motorola T120, a large TDMA phone that had fantastic battery life as well as reception, I decided I'd try one of those little flip phones instead. I got the LG. Overall I have been satisfied although not thrilled with it.
The phone is very small- that is certainly its best feature. It can easily be carried in shirt pocket.
The reception is about a 2/5 though, and that is the worst part. The battery life is not spectacular either, but whatever. When I use this phone in densely populated areas such as Manhattan and center city Philly, it works flawlessly. However, in areas that are slower to have adopted the GSM technology to a high saturation, obviously it's not going to work so well. So if you live in an area with strong cell service in general, I highly recommend this phone. This is one of the smallest phones around. If you are out in the country or have reception problems in general, I recommend it somewhat less, because the antenna is not that great on this thing. I guess it is a tradeoff between price and weight and power.
So how this works for you could range from 3 to 5 stars.

I have owned this phone for a few months now and it frequently goes to "no service" or "sos only" or "emergency only". Even when I do I have perfect service I can make a call and within a few minutes I am cutting out and have lost service again. Other phones seem to work fine in these areas, but not mine. I am currently looking for a replacement that can actually function as a PHONE!
