5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent addition to an excellent camera, April 7, 2005
By GW (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
One of the reasons I bought the Casio Exilim camera was for its ultracompact size. Even with the waterproof housing, the camera is still as small as many compact cameras. But the small size does not mean any compromises in performance. The housing is rated to keep the Exilim safe and dry even up to 40m (130 ft) underwater. I have not taken it this deep yet, but I did take it down to about 25m (82 ft) and it worked great. Inside the case, the camera is still very easy to use, the case providing access to all buttons and functions. My pictures turned out great and I was amazed that even the sound is good on movies.
The case is really well made and comes supplied with silicone grease, defogging solution a long, adjustable strap and a flash diffuser. Not only is it good for diving, but it is perfect for keeping the camera safe at the pool, beach, in the rain, etc. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Underwater Photographic and Video Experience, October 8, 2005
The Casio waterproof case is a marvellous gadget allowing you to take underwater shots in the pool and sea. It is very well thought out and designed, completely waterproof and easy to use. The instructions' manual is very explicit and in a matter of minutes one can be underwater. There may be a problem actually seiing what one is shooting underwater, even if goggles are worn, but with practice one can get round it. The price is a bit expensive though. It might well sell at around $100 instead of almost $200!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Case - Get your own strap, March 19, 2007
This case fit the casio extremely snugly and has all the buttons available for operation.
The picture quality was not at all dimished and kept the light weight feel so you can use it in the swimming pool.
The only downsides are the hand strap does not have a toggle to tighten like the neck strap so I had to go and buy a separate one for fear of losing it underwater - the case is also negatively boyant so you have to delve into the bucket when on the scuba boat. Very minor concerns and an excellent buy.
