More like "big box of art 300,000", March 31, 2005
It is very worth noting that 700,000 of the images are .gif format files to use on web sites. These all fit on about 2.5 CD-ROMs.
For example, a couple of hundred of them are lines in different colors and thicknesses. Another example is an "about" button which is teency-tiny, not very attractive, but is available in dozens of colors. And realize that you'll be swapping CD's like mad just to browse the 700,000 .gifs. As I browsed through the buttons, I couldn't find one I liked. They were all too small and unattractive in my opinion.
On the other hand, the 295,000 or so vector illustrations and photos are useful, in decent sizes, and the keyword search is fairly good.
Just don't think you're getting 1,000,000 quality images. You're getting a couple hundred thousand quality images and the rest is filler. But for the price, it's not a bad collection, especially if you'll really put it to use.
One piece of advice I'd give if you're going to use this quite a bit, is to copy all the discs (1-17) to your hard drive (each in a separate folder), then in "Edit|Options|Search Folder" in the software they provide, specify the folders where you put the files. You'll still have to swap around with the 700,000 .gif images, but it eliminates swapping CDs on the 295,000 photos and vector illustrations.

THE BIG BOX OF ART 1 MILLION, May 7, 2006
I already owned BOA 615,000 as well as the 2 - 50,000 Photo Objects collections. BOA 1 Million was a great addition to this collection. The search engine is fast and locates the other catalogs. I placed all the CD's on a data drive so that there is no CD swapping needed.
Not sure how product support or future plans are going to be. I haven't needed any yet. Hemera seems to have sold these products to Encore USA. Some of their links do not work but support is found at [...]
It you need to locate graphics to use in presentations then this is an excellent product. I am pleased with it.

Best ClipArt Program I've Ever Had, May 10, 2008
I have owned and used several ClipArt programs over the past 10 years and this is by far the best I've come across. Of course, there are not 1,000,000 high quality cliparts in this box...there never is. On the other hand, the clipart has a much better percentage of high quality cliparts. I've used these cliparts with graphic designing and web designing and am very pleased with it. You definitely want to download the CD's on your hard drive as previously noted. The search is very easy and quick. I only wish there was another Big Box of Art 2,000,000. Well worth the price!
