For Mission's m70i series, the 'i' stands for 'improved'. Improved cabinet, improved crossover, improved performance. Cabinet bracing has been revised to improve panel stiffness and reduce coloration, whilst crossover redesign has resulted in improved bass performance, increased midrange dynamics and smoother treble detail.The Mission m7c1i center channel loudspeaker is designed specifically to match any of the m70i series loudspeakers in home theater installations to provide the center 'dialogue' channel.
