Biography

Drummer Jack Irons has played with some of rock's biggest names over the years, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and Neil Young. Born on July 18, 1962, Irons was raised in Los Angeles, and it was while as a student at Fairfax High School that he befriended Hillel Slovak, Anthony Kiedis, and Michael Balzary. I purchased this album shortly after it's release and I have been listening almost daily since. It takes my mind to a relaxing place. I have been a fan for a long time and it is great to finally get a true gaze into his mind. Thank you Jack, for releasing this record.

Jack Irons has no fear of experimentation and his drumming style is unique(No Code). This is a really good rythm focused CD.

This is Jack Irons. The jewel box does not say "Pearl Jam". Jack is a drummer and percussionist. He clearly put much time and consideration into Attention Dimension, and it shows. The other musicians that are on the CD are his friends and colleagues, not marketing fixtures, and they lend texture to a fine album. This is not cookie-cutter music. It is experimental and original. More importantly, it's good. Don't think Pearl Jam/RHCP...think Jack Irons, and listen.
