The SC.5 was designed to seamlessly blend and balance with a variety of loudspeakers, both music-only and full home-theater scenarios. Like all the speakers in the Synergy line, the SC.5 uses the clean and accurate Klipsch square Tractrix horn, which guarantees optimal consistency and smooth frequency response. Every speaker in the Synergy Series has been meticulously voiced to match the others.

Combining high-quality materials, reliable components, and refined, distinguished styling, the Synergy Series represents a strong value in high-performance home entertainment. No matter what the source, Synergy Series speakers are built to reproduce everything from the softest whisper to the most intense, heart-stopping action.

The speaker offers a 1-inch polymer dome compression tweeter and dual 4-inch Tractrix horn woofers. Klipsch recommends driving the speaker with no more than 50 watts continuous, 200 watts peak power.

The Klipsch Synergy SC.5 center channel speaker uses a 1" magnetically shielded polymer dome compression driver coupled to a 4" square Tractrix(R) Horn for the high frequencies and two 4" graphite-injected woofers for the lows. This winning combination delivers high output with low distortion, broad dynamics, controlled coverage and flat frequency response. Other class-leading design features, such as high-definition crossover networks and internally braced enclosures help ensure peak performance from every SC.5, while the unique venting system of its cast-polymer woofer frame cools the voice coil to enhance reliability. The SC.5's multi-angle enclosure facilitates placement either above or below a television screen. This center channel also features a "floating," or suspended grille design, which minimizes image impairing sonic reflections and complements the jet ash vinyl veneer finish. This sonically and aesthetically appealing center channel delivers the lifelike dialogue needed to turn ordinary living rooms into theater spaces.

I love higher end electronics, but for the price, this performs aweseome. Matched it up with a denon receiver, some old DCM's for left/right, and a low end sony subwoofer (which is also amazing for its cheap price).

Excellent product, especially considering the price. It helped finish out the master bedroom surround system on the cheap. Great service from Vann's included at no extra cost.

I live in a smallish downtown condo so this center channel speaker serves my room size well; as well as using my Onkyo SR605 7.1 receiver. Would highly recommend for a small space.
