THE BEST EROTIC DANCE DVD ANYWHERE, December 17, 2004
By Eddy, LA, CA
Synopsis: An instructional video entirely devoted to teaching women how to find and release the sexual goddess within using affirmations and hot moves.
Our Review: In a society that is so focused on the 'perfect' body and supermodel looks, this video concentrates on restoring a woman's sexual confidence and teaching her how to do enticing moves and routines.
Instead of jumping right into difficult strip club moves, the host first guides the viewer through some relaxation and self awareness exercises. Instead of sounding too cheesy and fake, these exercises actually concentrate on reassuring a woman that no matter her shape, she is still a WOMAN, with all the perks that go with it.
I was incredibly skeptical when opening the DVD case and putting the disc into the player. After a child and some extra weight, I have a hard time feeling sexy. My self image has never been the best, and despite my better intentions, it's hard for me to just let go sometimes. After simply going through the first exercises with an open mind, I found myself feeling better about myself and being a woman. Add to that the fact that not all the women in the video have perfect figures and I immediately felt better about trying this new idea.
The moves, separated into lower and upper body segments, are simple enough to follow and done in a manner that encourage you to modify them to fit your shape and flexibility. You are taught that the dance itself is for your pleasure as well as his, because you get to revel in the positive attention that is completely directed at you and your body. Imperfections are allowed, even welcomed.
You also get to see two dances from beginning to end to help you design your own. Props and clothing are addressed, as well as ways to remove some clothing that might otherwise be awkward. A music CD is included in the case, to give you some music options to choose from and take cues from when picking from your own library.
Taking cues from the DVD, I started SLOW with one or two moves just as we were preparing for bed. Ranger loved the tiny teases and has given me the impetus to try more of a routine in the months to come. What a rush, seeing the look in his eyes!
This DVD is quite possibly the most important part of a woman's sensual collection. Anytime she wants to plan a special night with her love, the first thing on her list should be to watch this movie or prepare moves she learned from watching this movie. Not only are they pretty much guaranteed to make him drool, but she will feel like a Venus, even in an apron and oven mitts. Hey, anything can become a costume!

Agree with Christine & Jenne's Reviews, March 3, 2005
The first part of the DVD uses a lot of the DVD "The Art of Sensual Dance for Every Body" with Susan Bremer teaching women how to move using females who are different races & sizes. The host is very sensual herself & nice to see her & the other women moving very relaxed & confident in themselves no matter how what body type they were.
They teach all 15 moves of the other DVD, but only 23 min instead of 30 min. They keep cuting to the girl (eye candy for guy?) you see pictured on this DVD who follows along exactly like you would, but wonder what else they cut. They don't teach you for very long, figuring you can always replay as needed. This is not a fitness workout by any means.
The last part has the host talk & gives many hints about what to wear, how to position yourself to look your best, how to undress the best way, what to wear, how to set the mood, etc. She gears her teaching for the shy women who might be nervous & not used to seeing themselves as sexy, etc. Again this part is only 15 minutes instead of 23 min of the orgional DVD.
This host's style, sensuality, talent & content is much better then the The Art of Exotic Dancing for Everyday Women.
The end of the DVD shows the girl on the box you see starts stripping for her "boyfriend" & it ends in the bedroom with a full XXX scene where there's full nudity & no way it's faked.
There's a large text area of sexual defnitions & other sexual info & answers to common problems & issues.
There are also previews of the other DVDs they offer which are of XXX nature, seems to celebrate married, loving couples. There's also another short living-together bath couple sex scene.
If you want a more tame edition with probably more instructional content, get the "The Art of Sensual Dance for Every Body" by the same host - Susan Bremer. I got this at a deeply discounted dvd site where it was significantly cheaper, I didn't know it was the same teacher/host.
The included CD was nice bonus, but the music seems a little too 1980ish.

Not What I Was Expecting, February 2, 2005
I've been intrigued by this trend of "stripper workouts." I was looking for something to get my heart rate up and my husband's, too. I did not get what I was hoping for. First of all, the "dance" lessons are very basic and really cheesey. I guess that's ok for someone who has never seen a stripper dance. But I didn't get anything out of it. The "bonus" scene was VERY unexpected. At the end of the dvd there's a straight-up porn scene. It starts out as a lap dance to "demonstrate" the steps learned in the video, but it quickly becomes a completely nude, porn-quality sex scene. Just be prepared if you order this dvd.
