I am an amateur chef and have been using Le Creuset products for years, including smaller sizes of the Round French Oven. Le Creuset makes fabulous products and this French Oven, in all three sizes that we have, is fantastic in the kitchen. Every cook, amateur or wanabe, should have one for soups, roasts, and casseroles.
