This is the kind of DVD for Reality TV addicts who would like to "eavesdrop" on conversations between famous and notorious Reality TV personalities in a noisy restaurant in LA. I was a bit perplexed by the producer who seem to have thought that 2 boom mikes would be sufficient to record everyone's conversations clearly. Why not budget for individual lapel mikes when you KNOW you will have a lot of chatter and interruptions during the course of this get together? Sound problems aside - the comments made and questions raised by some of the previous contestants on shows like Big Brother, Real World and Survivor are interesting and insightful. It's not for repetitive viewing though.

This video I wasn't sure about but I thought it may be good or not turns out it was the later one. This would have been a better video if they had not just kind of strung it together they way it is. Very disappointing

If you are one who believes everything you see on reality TV, then you need to see this DVD to have your eyes opened. For those who have long suspected there occasionally was a script, or "staged" reality, then you already know why you need to see this DVD.

How one cast member from Big Brother season 4 hid from the producers her relationship with a Big Brother 1 cast member
had me on the floor laughing. Sarah (Joe Millionaire) Kozer's account of the NBC producer's fictional editing of something very innocent into a 'sex-capade,' made me wonder if the Enron staff is in the TV business.

There is nothing 'fading' about these reality stars in this setting. They ask each other some tough questions and many of the alcohol-fed answers in this bar setting equal or better their performances on their reality shows. It's not just 86 minutes of interesting and informative entertainment. The additional material is equally compelling viewing. The producer's commentary over the video gives you a wealth of insight into the cast and the video production. A bonus feature is a recap of the evening by two former Big Brother stars who had a little to much to drink.

There were some in this cast whose shows I had not watched (MTV). Seeing Trishelle, Alton and Irulan convinced me not to miss Real World or Road Rules in the future.
