5.0 out of 5 stars Great cd from a new band...., February 6, 2005
i didn't like this cd when i first played it, but the second time around i really got into it. i was really surprised when the singer tried to rap in a few songs (kill pop, everyday) but theyre not bad. i do hear a kurt cobain comparison and they do a good job on trying to sound like nirvana, but they definately will never be nirvana. i have no idea if they will be bigger in the future because right now there really not that famous. i dont hear them on the radio alot so maybe its just the stations i listen to. they r an average band to see live, i saw them with shinedown and on saturday i will be seeing them with chevelle. maybe this preformance will be better (i can only hope). but anyway i recommend this to anyone who likes grunge or alternative rock like 3 doors down and nickelback...

4.0 out of 5 stars Nirvana meets Rage Against The Machine, March 29, 2005

A very good freshman offering from this bunch. I usually turn my nose up at all the johnnie-come-latelies, but I can feel the pain of Phil Tayler pour thru my speakers. He's hurting--- and he's pissed too. A good combo for a rock band.
TA

ps--- I read a reviewer talk these guys down, But I have to say--- I think you missed it with these guys. Phil was homeless for a while--- his angst is for real. Take another listen.

4.0 out of 5 stars Combines many styles, October 24, 2004
I was anticipating this album for months especially when i heard the single let me out. I had to hear more, although only 10 songs it is still a masterpeice. I would describe them by naming bands like nirvana, puddle of mud, and even rage against the machine. A very political group and def get their message across, either in a singing low key way or using the rapping skills and yelling skills that show the emotion and great passion they put into it the music. This band is grounbreaking and i cant wait to hear more material from them. Simply amazing
