This is a 1/24 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM 2000 Team D2 Plastic Model Kit from Tamiya. With the restart of the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) in 2000, the eyes of the world's motorsports fans turned to Germany. To cut the high costs of the original DTM, strict standardization of tires, transmission, differential gearing, brakes, rear wing and diffuser was conducted. This also effectively served to narrow the performance gap between cars, paving the way for truly exciting racing. FEATURES: Silver-grey plastic parts are attached to sprue trees. Clear pieces for windows are included. Detailed molding of body panels, air intakes and spoilers. Clear plastic light lenses. Hood opens to show detailed 4000cc V-8 engine. Detailed undercarriage and push-rod double wishbone suspension. Realistic interior includes racing seat with Sabelt belts, racing steering wheel, pedal cluster, gear shift and full roll cage.
