Together with the CET toothbrush, I've used this toothpaste for years with my cats. They like the taste, and most importantly, it's safe for cats to swallow. This is in contrast to human toothpaste, which is not meant for animals and can be dangerous for them to swallow. I read good reviews for this brand in the animal health literature.

It contains two active enzymes - Glucose Oxidase and Lactoperoxidase. These are supposed to help fight against tartar (similar to hydrogen peroxide, which is used in some other pet toothpastes). Interestingly, you won't see fluoride in pet toothpastes, as it is not considered safe for them to swallow.

The only issue I have with this toothpaste is that it's not very abrasive, so over time tartar still builds and I have to bring in my cats for teeth cleaning every couple of years. This is still a lot better than yearly teeth cleaning, though, as most cats need to be put under general anesthesia for this, which has some risks and is pretty expensive as well.

This toothpaste has kept my 11-year-old pomeranians' teeth and gums in perfect condition, which in turn keeps them healthy. This seller has the best price by far.

This is the best price I've found. Just a fraction of what the vets charge at their clinics. And the shipping fee is per order, not per tube.

My dog licks her lips when I get the tube out.

I haven't seen the plaque on her teeth decrease, but maybe it would be a lot worse if I weren't using this toothpaste. It sure beats a costly dental cleaning where the vet anesthetizes the dog!!!
