Murphy displays a genius combining content, delivery and timing, making a mockery of his 20 or so years. Like those rare CDs that you listen to without fear of album-fillers, the variety and quality of these sketches is second to none. Characters such as Velvet Jones, Buckwheat and Mr. Robinson remain fresh and damn funny- and remember that these were made twenty years ago. Similarly to his early films, Murphy retains those vital abilities to laugh at life and laugh at himself. Sketches such as 'Black History Minute', 'Guy Talk' and 'James Brown is Annie' are testament to his unique talents.

There is a DVD out of his best stuff from SNL, but it doesn't have it all - and this video does! If you want Eddie doing Richard Simmons, White Like Me, Toof Fairy and a whole lot more - get this video - the DVD doesn't have any of it!

This is Eddie young wild & crazy.I love the VHS version because in the DVD thing where cut out that is classic 80's stuff and I couldnt take that so I got the VHS.
