Editorial Reviews

About the Artist
After forming in the summer of 1998, IF HOPE DIES quickly came into their own as young dedicated musicians. Hailing from Auburn, New York, IF HOPE DIES showed upstate New York that you can mix metal with hardcore. Since then, IF HOPE DIES has progressed into a leader of the genre of metal based hardcore. A 2002 release on Diehard Records entitled "Siege Equipment for Spiritual Decline" has sold over 1200 copies to date with only regional touring. The release solidified the band as a metalcore force to be reckoned with.

Priding themselves on having an energetic and heartfelt connection with their audience, IF HOPE DIES has proven their metal by their tireless commitment to touring. Having shared the stage with metal heavy weights LAMB OF GOD, IN FLAMES and SOILWORK, among others, IF HOPE DIES has consistently held their own and build an exceptionally solid touring base in the U.S.

"The Ground is Rushing Up Top Meet Us" is the best and latest release for If Hope Dies and will blow away any fan of traditional Heavy Metal, European Metal, American Metal, Thrash Metal and Metal based Hardcore. With a new label, Ironclad recordings, and a new commitment to tour full time, IF HOPE DIES is stronger than ever and will be coming to your hometown soon to show you who the "Kings of modern day Metal" really are.

3.0 out of 5 stars good.. but hmmmm.., July 25, 2007
This is a good cd.. and I would rate this 3 and a half if I could... it just never really caught on to me... I was recommended this cd because I like the Invocation of Nehek.. but this band is no way near as good as they are... my oppinion... the singer's voice just turns me off..from this band.... not recommended by me...
