Editorial Reviews

Been in this business for years. Great CD. "I Want A Walmart Girl" is a hit!

Product Description
"The Battle Has Started" is Christian Rock that makes you feel good! The strong lyrics and message pierces your heart. You will feel better than you did before! WARRIOR's hit, I Want A Walmart Girl" is tearing up the radio and internet radio charts! The music picks up where the early nineties left off and has progressed higher, with some nu punk, strong straight-ahead rock, and intense ballads! If you want to enjoy excellent rock with real melodies, great hooks, intricate leads (not these girlie-man leads), and lyrics that fill your soul with truth, purchase "The Battle Has Started", enjoy it, and turn it on to a friend or relative that needs help. Join the Warrior Army!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Revenge Of the 80's!!!!, January 17, 2005
Just when we were giving up hope that there were still any decent 80's metal bands still alive, Warrior comes out with "The Battle Has Started"! With the opening to the song "Cry As One", Warrior proceeds to put the smack down on listeners with killer songs, great guitar leads, melodic vocals, and a very tight bass/drum section. If that weren't enough, lyrically these guys present the Gospel of Christ in a very bold way that even Stryper could learn from.

While I do think that the face-paint on the cover is cheesy, there is NO cheese whatsoever to be found on "The Battle Has Started". Get this CD today before Warrior comes to your house and breaks your legs with that Ibanez!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rob Johnson and Verdelak know eachother!!, May 21, 2005
I know the guys in WARRIOR, and they do not see either Rob Johnson from NY and Verdelak for NY on any purchase lists for Amazon. These guys never bought WARRIOR's CD!!! Amazon! Take these two guys OFF THE REVIEW LIST. WARRIOR testifies and you should have your own records to verify these two fakes never bought WARRIOR's CD!! Their comments are lies based on nothing. They never heard the music.

5.0 out of 5 stars For those about to Rock - Get this quick!!!!!, December 31, 2004
i didn't know what to expect with this band. i only heard about them through a forum that i belong to. But man the image looked good and what i seen on the website was enough to make me get this. I was not disappointed. This is an absolute killer of a disc. Plenty of hook laden songs and a few slower songs to keep all metal heads happy. Plenty of chunky riffing and thunderous drumming and bass pounding metal. The single "I WANT A WALMART GIRL" is bound to get this band the recognition they deserve and cataplut these guys into the big time. Although the production might have been a bit clearer this cd will have you singing along after only a few listens. My favourite song at the minute is The battle has started where Warrior claim that the battle has started and it's time to chose before you win or lose. I am glad i choose Warrior because they have put the light in my dark world and they have made me realise that God's love is real!! all i can add is that Warrior are "RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW" and they want us to get "THE BETTER HIGH" because "THE BATTLE HAS STARTED"
GREAT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!!
