I ordered a hard copy of the warrenty on 3 August 2005 and was promised by Lee at 9:50 am PDT that day that one would be in the mail 'very soon'. Today is the 2nd of September and I have yet to see it. I don't know how the other 82% made out but I think there is a weak link here.
Also I think that some of your contractors that sell used copies or out of print copies are a little slow as well. Three weeks for a book also seems a little slow. The answer, of course, is to deal only with and directly with Amazon dot com

After reading the terms, it was obvious the value of this "replacement" plan was almost zero. Therefore, I cancelled.

They say "If it breaks, we replace it by sending you a check for the amount you paid, including tax." but that excludes:

-accidents due to accident misuse abuse
-collision vandalism theft
-the elements or acts of god
-defects due to the millenium bug or the year 2000 problem
-invasion, war, act of foreign enemy, rebellion, riot
-non functional aesthetic parts
-damge rusting or warping to the caseing
-damage caused by a computer virus
-damage happening to the item before the issue date of the policy
-damage occuring while being repaired at the repair center

it does cover
-deffects in the workmanship and/or materials.
