Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Should Remi, the first of his tribe to go to university, return to his people? Or should he continue to be a black hermit in the town? --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

About the Author
Ngugi is world famous for his novels from Weep Not, Child to Matigari and the impact of his plays, especially in Gikuyu, which led to his detention in Kenya. He is now Professor of Comparative Literature and Performance Studies in New York University. This book reflects many of the concerns found in Decolonising the Mind and Moving the Centre. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Review by A. Walker, May 22, 2000
This play is a beautiful story about one man's struggle with life. I liked this play because of the drama, the twist and turns in the plot, and the simple fact that I could relate to the main character. I have things in my life that I do not want to do as well. It helped me put my own life into perspective.
