5.0 out of 5 stars High Quality, March 27, 2007
By Bodhisattva (SF / SD / LT, CA / NV) - See all my reviews
If you are looking at keyboard trays then you know that there are plenty of products to chose from with pricing ranging from $29-$500 or more. This one is priced around $100, and is of the highest quality that I have tried. I had one of the earlier models from the same manufacturer, and recognized this by its picture. I bought 9 of them for the workstations in my office, after having bought and returned the Ken****ton ones that cost about the same price, but are made of cheap flimsy plastic. This is made of sturdy composite materials and metal. Mouse tray slides out either side and is also sturdy. Hands down the best value out there

5.0 out of 5 stars As great as I'd hoped, August 31, 2008

This keyboard tray is fantastic, I've been using it for over a month and it is solid as a rock. The glide is very smooth without being loose. Nothing feels cheap about it. The lock mechanism is a help, but most times I don't need it. The adjustments for height are great - six inches all the way down means it cleared some structural supports under my desk no problem. Though I don't need it, the side to side action is really nice too (very tight so it'll never go side to side accidentally).

An important note about the mouse tray: it works great and is a very nice size, but it makes mousing too far away for me. As a result, I put my mouse pad on the actual keyboard surface and had to buy Apple's wireless keyboard which has a much smaller footprint (I'm using an iMac). If you are buying this for a PC or cannot get or do not want a mini keyboard, be sure NOT to center mount this device. If you mouse with your left, mount it slightly to the right. Basically mount it in such a way that it will be exactly the way your current keyboard and mouse sit on your desk. Also be careful about screwing it in too far. I had to loosen the screws a few turns as they were causing tiny bumps on the surface of my desk. Even so, the thing is rock solid.
I really love this tray. Worth every penny.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Solid Product, March 2, 2009
By M. Kropp "--The Baldman" (Londonderry, NH USA) - See all my reviews

I bought this based on the reviews of it being a good solid product. Many keyboard trays I've seen are made of too much plastic and flimsy. Also many are not wide enough to fit the Microsoft Ergonomic keyboards.

This arm was easy to install (other than laying on your back under the desk. The instructions were simple. They provided a nice template for drilling the first two screw holes (though they could have mentioned that the arm had to be extended to get to one of them -- i paniced and thought the template didn't match). Once the first two screws were in, it was simple to get the rest in and secure it really well. It really helps to have two people -- in fact, you really need two people initially unless you were to turn your desk upside down.

In use, the arm and tray are very stable. It's a very good product.

As the other reviewers have noted, this is a very well constructed and sturdy keyboard tray. My only criticism (which I won't ding the rating for) is that the slide out mouse... Read more

Had been using another cheaper keyboard tray that broke when my granddaughter leaned on it. This tray will hold up to 100 lbs.
