5.0 out of 5 stars Ultimate Computer Geek Gift, August 9, 2005
This unusual clock is the perfect accessory for you or your computer-savy friends. It only takes a few minutes to learn how to read the time by adding up the numbers in each column: HH MM SS. To everyone else, it just looks like a box with flashing blue lights! It is a great conversation starter!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift, August 31, 2005

Great gift and conversation piece.
Pros: Small desktop device that catches the attention of everyone passing by. A fun challenge for the non-computer/math person.
Cons: It is sometimes difficult to read the time in low light as the positions of the LEDS are hard to identify (the illuminated LEDs are easily seen.) It could use a backup battery (although setting the time is easy)

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Gift, December 24, 2004
I've seen this clock on display at the Discovery Channel Store and at first it looks like a little box with flashing lights. A sales associate explained to me how to read the clock and it actually makes sense. It's a perfect gift for someone who likes unusual things or for a computer geek. The Discovery Store use to sell this same model, but it doesn't sell it anymore so Amazon is the only place to get this model.

5.0 out of 5 stars good sleep and awake clock
Great to watch going to sleep, better than counting sheep, by the time your brain figures out the time in the morning, you are awake.

5.0 out of 5 stars True binary mode
This is a great product for computer science students or CS geeks in general. Note that it has a "true" binary mode where each row is used to represent hours, minutes and seconds... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars People in my office love it...
It works in 12 hour and 24 hour mode. It can also work in sideways arrangement. The lights are really bright and they look cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why I didn't buy from Target!!
I will buy this from discovery channel because Target has some very anti-Christmas policies that the annouced last year. I consider this to be bad service.
