This is a 1:24 Scale Willys MB Jeep Plastic Model Kit from Hasegawa. Launched in 1941, the Jeep quickly gained a reputation as an extremely robust and light cross-country vehicle. It was used, among other things, for liaison and reconnaissance work. The Jeep could be mounted with weaponry such as machine guns and cable cutters for neutralizing wires spanned across roads and booby traps. The Jeep was powered by a 60hp 4 Willys MB petrol engine, which gave the vehicle a max speed of over 100kmh. The Jeep weighed only 1,500kg. FEATURES: Olive brown plastic pieces are attached to sprue trees. Clear pieces included for windshield. Hood opens to reveal engine. Includes a driver figure. Separate frame and floor pan. Authentic interior. Details include wire cutter, jerry can, shovel, axe, machine gun, and mussette bag. Clear pictorial instructions.
