The flash unit was specifically developed for the current range of digital and analog cameras from leading manufacturers. The Metz mecablitz 54 AF-1 digital represents the current state of the art in flash technology. New internal precision metering methods ensure perfect flash exposures. Moreover, simple operation heightens the fun in flash photography. But the Metz mecablitz 54 AF-1 digital also stands for more sophisticated use of flash with short recycling times, modeling light, three partial light output levels and second curtain synchronization - indispensable for the natural rendering of wipe effects. Furthermore, depending on the camera model, TTL exposure correction covers up to three apertures, both in the plus and minus ranges (in one-third increments).
