This map includes color bands that make political boundaries easily distinguishable, as well as easy-to-see interstate highway markers, cities, towns, and insets of 21 metro areas. Ideal for use in the classroom, this map's large size (38 x 50 inches) is easy to read, and its laminated surface allows for on easy write-on and wipe-off use with a dry erase marker (sold separately). This map comes with plastic strips at the top and bottom to prevent curling.

This map is just perfect for what we needed: to mark a path and chart our progress. We are doing a virtual "walk to D.C." with our family, using our pedometers. We started in Bakersfield, CA, and we're working our way east. We can mark the map with dry erase/wet erase markers, and it works perfectly!

Arrived in great condition, no problems whatsoever. Yay! Thanks for a great product!
