BOA's the best!!!, July 28, 2005
A Kid's Review
Wow!! What can I say? BOA Best of Soul is absolutely the best album that I've listened to yet! The songs include favorites of mine like Listen to My Heart, Kimochiwa Tsutawaru, Valenti, No.1, etc and they're all fabulous. Boa also put in some songs that I hadn't really listened to like Quincy and Konoyono Shirushi (I don't know how it's spelled) and those songs quickly became favorites of mine. So, let's look at the track listings!
Listen to My Heart-I loooove this song!! It's so catchy and the music video for this song is absolutely amazing!! The tune and beat is very good and the first time I listened to it, I wanted to dance!! I dunno if this is because this song is so popular, but BOA has three versions to this song which is the original Japanese version, Korean and English version and then of course you have the other remixes which are just as good. You'll fall in love with this song so I highly recommend you to listen to it!! 10/10

ID; PeaceB- This was BOA's debut song on her first single and you just gotta love it!! The music video is very good even though it was her first one I think. Oh well...the beginning starts off all funky with all the instrumental parts and then you hear BOA's beautiful voice. You'll never get tired of this song, no matter how many times you listen to it and there's this one time in her music video where she does this robot kind of dance for a short period of time! It's cool. So, listen and fall in love with it! 9/10

Amazing Kiss- A very good song to go with the music video; the tone and beat will quickly grab your attention and keep it. You just wanna get up and dance to it!! The song is just so energetic and like ID; PeaceB, BOA's voice is younger in this one because I think it's an earlier song that she sang and I like it like that. Really, go for this one. 9/10

Kimochiwa Tsutawaru- I loooove this song!! The beginning is so catchy and BOA's voice is so great in this song! The lyrics are super and the beat is excellent. The music video for this song is one of my favorites. No matter how many times I listen to this song, I never get tired of it and the song will definitely make you want to listen to it further and further until it's done!! This song has the Japanese version, Korean version and other remixes that are equally just as good. I really think this will go on your favorite list so listen to it! 10/10

Every Heart- You gotta love this song! It has such a sweet melody tune to it that can take out all the stress that's in you and the beat is so beautiful and nice. BOA's voice in this song is somewhat stronger in this song and that's why l like it so much!! You'll want to replay it over and over again and again! The music video may not have any dancing in it like her other music videos in the DVD of BOA Best of Soul, but it shows you the view of Tokyo or wherever she filmed it inside the Ferris Wheel. This song has three different versions to it; the Japanese version, and the Korean and English version. 9/10

Valenti- OMG!!! This song is soooo cool in the beginning!! It's the complete opposite of Every Heart; quick and soo catchy!! The beginning of this song will really grab your attention and hold it until it finishes playing. The beat and tune is all so very good as always and the chorus is really good. BOA's voice is so powerful in this song and no matter how many times I've listened to it; I have never once gotten tired of it. The music video is probably one of my favorites; BOA's dance moves in this song is so cool and I tried dancing to it, but I'm not too good with dancing, but its fun! I do know some moves in her music video though; score for me (has Japanese, Korean and English version). Lol. So, listen, listen, listen and love this song!!! 10/10

Kiseki- This song is so lovely. It starts off all innocent and semi slow at first then gradually picks up speed when it gets to the chorus, the beat is faster and then right after the chorus, the rhythm goes down. The music video is so pretty with the little fireworks and her dancing. I highly recommend you listen to this song. (Has Japanese, Korean and English version) 9/10

No.1- Wow!! A favorite of mine that I just totally love!! The beginning is so energetic and grabs your attention quickly. BOA said that this is probably her most memorable song, and it's one the most memorable songs for me too! The beat and tune is just so well put in and the music video is super!! Her dancing is spectacular as always and her voice is so powerful and strong in this song and that's why I love it so much. It's definitely one of those songs that you can listen to over and over again and not get tired of it. (Has Japanese, Korean and English version). So, listen and love this song over and over again!! 10/10

Jewel Song- This song is slow and beautiful. The lyrics are awesome and the beat and tone of this song is slow and pretty. BOA's voice in this song is lovely and her music video is good too although it doesn't have any dancing. Lol. Like Every Heart, this song will relax you and can easily put you to sleep too; I learned from experience... So, I think you'll like this song so very much like I do right now. 9/10

Shine We Are!- Funky and catchy is what this song is! The beginning will really grab your attention and BOA's voice will insure that your attention is kept for the rest of the song. To me, this song is for anyone and everyone to just have fun. It's energetic and the beat and rhythm is perfect. The music video is very good too. It's sooo colorful and that's what makes me think this song is for people to listen to and just have a great time. The lyrics are super and the small bit of English lyrics add a lot to the song too. A must see and listen to song. 10/10

DOUBLE- I love this song!! It's so beautiful and the music video is totally awesome. BOA will give you attitude with her "ready?" in the beginning. The rest of the song will keep you listening to it and the beat is very good. The music video is really good! BOA's mirroring herself; one BOA on the floor and the other BOA on the ceiling. They filmed BOA doing her dancing twice with her dancers in different clothes and then flipped it upside down, quite easy to do, but looks perfect in the music video!! One of BOA's hair styles in this music video is unique and great. There's also a Korean version to this song too which is just as good. You won't get tired of this song, I can promise you that. 10/10

Rock With You- The beginning starts off all funky and crazy and then gradually gets into a groovy kind of feeling. This song is great and BOA's attitude in this song is different than in her other songs and that difference makes this song really good. The chorus is my favorite part in the song and the music video is great too; BOA singing with her dancers in a circle and the camera is moving around them fast, it makes me dizzy!! Anyways, the beat and tune in this song is awesome so listen to it! 9/10
Time: 4:15
Quincy- I absolutely love this song! I had never heard of it before and when I listened to it, I loved it!! The rhythm is perfect and the lyrics are great too! It always makes me want to get up and dance and speaking of dancing, the music video for this song is awesome! The way BOA dances is sooo cool and the English lyrics in there is good too. So, listen to this song and I can promise you this; you'll love it! 9/10

Konoyono Shirushi- This song is perfect!! It starts off on a lovely and calm note then speeds up a little. I fell asleep listening to this song like Jewel Song. The beat and tune is really good and mixes so well together. I like how the tracks on this album goes from catchy and pop like to a calm and lovely tune, back up to a fast tune and then back down, etc. BOA's voice is strong, but calm in this song and that's one of the reasons why I love it. I highly recommend you to listen to this song. 10/10

Meri Chri- I don't know why, but this song has a kind of sorrowful tune to it and that's why I love it so much. BOA's voice is totally different in this song than it usually is in her other songs. The beat and tune just go so well together and the music video is cute too. I love the scene with BOA in a black dress walking towards the cross shaped stone in the water and the snow is falling is falling silently. This song just has a huge impact on me and the way the strings and BOA's voice blend together is just perfect. I really think you'll love this song like I do. 10/10

LA LA LA LOVE SONG- This song has such a catchy tune and rhythm to it with BOA and Soul'd Out. Her voice is strong and energetic in this song and I like the way some English lyrics are added into her song to enhance it a lot. So, listen to this song because it is soo cool!!! 9/10

All in all, this album is probably one of the best albums I've heard BOA sing. The different melodies and tunes are totally awesome and if you can, I highly recommend you to get the DVD with the CD too! BOA's music videos are so cool and lovely!! The overall time for this album is 1 hour, 10 minutes and 20 seconds. I hope this review was helpful for all of you.

Good!, January 15, 2006
This CD is a good CD overall, her songs are great as usual and these are surely her best, but I always liked her Korean versions alot better, being that these are Korean songs sung in Japanese. so, if you buy BoA CDs, I just really think her Korean versions seem better, I dont know why, maybe they just seem more original!
