The Chobits boxed sets are a good deal. I only gave 4 stars because I had hoped the actual 'box' to be more artsy...ok, it's really because I despise the brown dress chi wears the first few episodes.
But the rest of her outfits do the dress justice. ^.^
Also, the episodes have artwork from the series, again, a little dissapointed. If you have bought the dvds individually, the boxed set doesn't have anything more to offer you than a nice dvd display case.
Don't get me wrong, I am fasinated by the whole anime, it's just that darn plain old brown dress she wears the first few scenes and on the box covers! >.< Why couldn't it have been black? Blue even? Purple? not green....pink? Something other than brown!!! Ok enough ranting. point is: Buy the boxed sets & save $$ on a excellent anime! ^.^

Part II was supposed to ship in January, but it has not. I really like Chobits, and the STL deal was great. It's good thing I'm not in a hurry to watch the DVDs. It's Feb. 3, I'm still waiting.
