Things change drastically, however, when Kevin's teenaged sister is brutally murdered by a street gang. College kids by day--by night they are ruthless vigilantes--out for revenge. Kevin's father, a police lieutenant played by Ernest Borgnine, and his partner, Richard "Shaft" Roundtree, are trailing the killers. But they're not moving fast enough for Kevin and his friends. Lynda Day George, as Kevin's mom, can't convince him to leave the investigation to the pros, nor can his college sociology professor (comedian Dick Shawn in a rare dramatic appearance). The suspense builds to a fever pitch and the action is fast and furious as "Young Warriors" race the police to close in on the killers.
