I HAD GOTTEN THIS AS A GIFT FOR MY FRIENDS AT CHRISTMAS. I WAS SO EMBARRASSED WHEN SHE TOLD ME SHE HAD OPENED IT AND IT WAS IN SEVERAL PIECES. THE PACKAGE HAD BEEN HANDLED VERY CAREFULLY SO IT MUST HAVE CAME THAT WAY. REPLACEMENT WAS EASY THOUGH AND A NEW ONE WAS SENT INTACT AND MY FRIEND LOVED IT.

This solar light is very pretty, but the shipping packing is a big problem!!! I ordered this item as a Christmas gift & it was received broken. So, I ordered a second one & had it shipped directly to our friends instead of having it shipped to me & then shipping it through FedEx. Again, even directly from the vendor, it was received broken. I am not sure if these items are broken before they are shipped or what. I would not recommend purchasing this item for that reason alone.
