About the Author
Dan Zukowski is a 20-year veteran of the media and communications field, with experience in journalism, marketing and video/television production. Mr. Zukowski is co-founder of Frame Productions, Inc. and has written and produced numerous projects for Honda, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Coors, Verizon Wireless and Kawasaki.<br><br><br><br>As a marketing communications professional, he launched Kawasakis motorsports public relations program in the early 1990s and later ran the communications account for Honda automobiles, overseeing product launches including the Odyssey minivan, S2000 sports car, Civic Si and Insight gas-electric hybrid. He was also responsible for the highly acclaimed Hyundai cross-country Dave or Bust! consumer event tour.<br><br><br><br>Prior to that, Mr. Zukowski served as New York Editor for the Wards family of automotive trade publications and his byline has appeared in Newsday, the San Jose Mercury News and Changing Times magazine, among others. He was also the editor of Auto <br><br>Analyst, the newsletter of the Society of Automotive Analysts, and of in-house <br><br>corporate publications for Honda, Isuzu and Kawasaki.
Meredith Cruse is the co-founder and president of Frame Productions, Inc. She is responsible for all of the companys productions from development and budgeting to producing. Ms. Cruse and Mr. Zukowski are co-creative directors on every one of Frame Productions projects. In addition, Ms. Cruse is the director on many productions.<br><br><br><br>Prior to Frame Productions, Meredith Cruse was a principal with predecessor company Danna Group, where she produced and directed corporate videos for Honda, Mitsubishi, Coors and Verizon Wireless, and produced commercials for Ralphs, Food4Less, Vibram USA, ditech.com and the San Diego Zoo.<br><br><br><br>Before joining Danna Group, Cruse was an independent producer and development executive who worked in feature film and television development for a number of well-known Hollywood production companies. At Todman-Simon Productions, she was involved in the development of the feature films Wild Wild West, X-Men, Trust Me and The In-Laws.<br><br><br><br>While at Morgan Creek, an independent studio with a distribution deal with Warner Bros. Studios, she became the first woman promoted to a development executive within the company. During her tenure, Cruse was involved in the development and production of Ace Ventura II: When Nature Calls, Diabolique, Bad Moon, Wild America, Incognito, Major League III: Back To The Minors, Wrongfully Accused, the animated film The King & I, Soldier and Chill Factor. She also supervised the development and production of the animated television series, Ace Ventura. Cruse then joined Platinum Studios as Director of Development and ran this independent production companys development department with a first look deal with Dimension Films, a division of Miramax.
