From the supplier: IBM's EduQuest division introduces three models of the IBM PS/2 microcomputer marketed expressly for the educational market under the EduQuest label. The models are the EduQuest 30, $987, the EduQuest 40, $1,469, and the EduQuest 50, $1,634. The Model 30 is powered by an Intel 80386SLC processor and comes with a graphics board and 512Kbytes of video memory. It includes an improved School Mouse, keyboard and power cords, as well as a monitor with 640 x 480 resolution. The Models 40 and 50 are based on the Intel 80486SX and are capable of handling an Intel OverDrive processor. They come with a monitor with 1,024 x 768 resolution, as well as a graphics subsystem that supports both DVI and analog video standards. The EduQuest series can be configured with CD-ROM drives, and Ethernet or Token-Ring network capability is available through optional EduQuest communications boards. The EduQuest is available in 340 configurations. It comes bundled with MS-DOS 5.0.
