Ablum rocks so expertly and so convincingly, that it seems a minor miracle that the team of wild canucks responsible for recording it concentrated their efforts on the oft-overlooked kids' market. This-side-of-disgusting song titles like "Pooing and Peeing" provide a peek into a generally very funny lyrical style. Singing is hit or miss, with Duplex's female lead channeling a less wholesome Laurie Berkner, and its male crooner calling to mind Ray Davies in stronger moments. Because there's no warning label on the cover, you heard it here first: May cause an outbreak of mohawks among 6-year-olds.
