Generally, the notebook computer weighs less than seven pounds, incorporating 1- or 2Mbytes of RAM, a 1.44Mbyte floppy drive and a hard disk, which in some models is expandable to as much as 120Mbytes. Screens on these units typically range from 8.5-in to 10-in with VGA resolutions in as many as 32 shades of grey.
