From the supplier: The National Assn of Insurance Commissioners considers insurers' filing of their financial statements on the Internet more efficient and economical than diskette filings. Most states favor the elimination of diskette filings, but not the hard copies of financial statements. Filing financial statements on the Internet will require insurers to use advanced Web browsers and operating systems. Use of LAN-driven interfaces or modems will affect the speed of document transmission.
