From the supplier: The Federal Reserve Board and the Georgia Dept of Banking have issued cease and desist orders to Putnam-Greene Financial Corp and its affiliated banks for lack of preparation for the Year 2000 compliance. Although majority of small banks have made every effort to comply with the regulations, most experience difficulties because of their reliance on third-party vendors. Despite the difficulties, the banking industry is still confident that most banks will be able to comply with the regulations before the year 2000.
