1.0 out of 5 stars You'd think somebody whose real name is Webster would have opened a dictionary at least once., June 5, 2006
This is absolute [...]. It's so bad its funny. In the big picture it's very sad that the great music of hip hop has sunk this low. He has no talent whatsoever. All he does is rhyme swears with the same swear, and when the words rhyme it's so basic. All of this is with a horrible flow and a [...]voice. Not that it matters but its worth mentioning hes ugly as hell. His lyrics are of a 3rd grader who learned a ton of profanities early on. All he says every song is the same damn thing. He has absolutely nothing to say except bling hoes and how savage his life is (sarcasm). What ever happened to the days of Ready To Die, Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, and The Don Killuminati The 7 day theory just to name a few. If you are a true rap fan you will not buy this crap because you actually can figure out that it sucks. Meaning you're not an idiotic teenager who thinks theyre [...]by blasting this in their car who cant see the absolute lack of talent. A person who doesnt rap could easily outdo this album that's how bad it is. This is the opposite of what rap was supposed to be. I hate the rappers that just sell out and pump out horrible tracks really fast to get rich and don't care about the music. I really hope somebody can save the desolated wasteland of the hip hop industry. I'm a local rapper so I will end this review with my own rap which annihilates anything Webbie has or ever will make.

Fake mcs must pick up a dictionary your lack of vocabulary makes me laugh hysterically even a lobotomy cannot save a feeble mind rap bout more the nines you don't own you currency and the number a hoes you take home and attempt to act fully grown be legit not ignorant is my motto consider what effect today has on tomorrow there is no higher form of ignorance than a closed mind blind to the oppositions it will find I infiltrate your mind state to create vivid visions otherwise unobtainable incisions inflicted when your escalades in collision while still in ignition because your brain is less advanced than intellivision

1.0 out of 5 stars Trash, trash, and more trash..., May 16, 2006
By Bernard Payton (El Paso, TX) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Now I usually don't give something one star because for me to give something one star it has to REALLY suck. Heck, this is only my second review. But Webbie manages to hit rock bottom with the release of his album Savage Life. And for that matter I don't think you can live to be 18 like he says he is long enough to live a life like that.

But back to the album, you can really tell that Webbie's vocabulary skills are really limited with his constant usage of the b-word and the s-word in almost every bar he uses and his hooks. Song titles don't get creative here with "G-S**t", "Gutta B", and the disgusting "Bad B". And as if that song wasnt already bad enough he does a remix with Trina (now that sounds like a winning formula?).

Webbie is definatley describing himself on the song "Retarded", why anyone would make a song like that song is beyond me. And "Gotta Show Me U Worth It" is a phrase I'm definatley going to.

So there has to be a bright spot here right? Well I havent even mentioned his single, "Give Me That", but trust me it's not good because of Webbie. Bun-B is featured in it and he manages to shine nicely without the filthy mouth. For that matter his verse is the only thing worth listening to on this whole CD if you havent thrown it out the window by now.

1.0 out of 5 stars "Gimmie That" cd so I can toss it in the garbage! , August 21, 2005
To say that this rapper is garbage is an understatement and a cliche. This person has no originality and his vocab is restricted to four letter words and references to cars, bling, and money. That's the case with a lot of dirty south rappers. With the exception of UGK, Outkast, Ludacris, and of course Scarface, dirty south rappers has no skill and their beats sound the same. Just like G funk hip hop of the 90's, Dirty South hip hop is gonna burn out when people get tired of their bad grammar. As for Webbie, he's gonna end up in the cut out bins in a few years if not sooner and his career will be over in a year. For all you ladies out there that he's telling to "Gimmie That" need to save it for a real man because he's a little boy that's mastrubating the art of hip hop for instant gratification.

Pass on this CD.
