The V-Caster server has all the essential ingredients for enabling enterprise-wide video broadcasting across today?s broadband networks. A wide choice of models provides the scalability to meet different requirements, allowing up to 6 concurrent MPEG-1 channels or 3 concurrent MPEG-2 channels from a single server. Software selectable NTSC and PAL input feeds taken from satellite, television, analogue cameras or VCRs can be broadcast live to thousands of ATM and IP attached clients over an ATM backbone. PC clients equipped with FVC.COM?s MOS can view any channel originating from any V-Caster in the entire network.
